Excellent animation video of the Observer Effect
One of the best explanations of Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle and the observer effect is illustrated in this animated youtube video.
Simply put, the Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle states that:
The uncertainty principle is a manifestation of the observer effect.
Its also beautifully illustrates another very infamous thought experiment, put forth by Erwin Schrödinger in the 1930s known as “Schrödinger’s Cat” – where the principle of quantum super-positioning may be applied everyday objects.
