Nokia’s beta applications website recently launched “nokia chat” - an IM application which lets you share your status and your geographical location with your friends.

• The software basically allows one to get instant geographical notification of where their friends are by pinpointing your location on a map.
• Location aware chat, that updates your messages based on your geographical location if you choose to share your location.
• Update your status…. dont we need more of these around
• Chat based on XMPP/Jabber protocol, interoperable with GoogleTalk and mxit.
