As of today July 15th 2010, there’s no jailbreak available for iPhone running iOS4.0. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

the first batch of iPhone 3G was a bit pricey but now the price is more affordable than before. I bought two units of iPhone 3g and i am amazed of this phone.

Affordable price. Hopefully the after sales service in this region is pretty goog.
I heared the price of iPhone in Indonesia is quite high, the operator is not well educated also.

Pricing is R6999 and R7999 for 8GB and 16GB respectively at mopst cell outlets. Meanwhile at Dion Wired, its going for R6389 and R7569. Activation can be done at the outlet or by yourself. It is not network locked and can be activated with any sim card, also there is no need to activate again when your sim card is changed.

However there are some limitations of the phone as it is (with no apps):
1. Bluetooth only works over voice (ie. that is with a headset only, no file exchange)
2. There is no MMS capability.
3. The iPhone cannot be used as a modem.
4. No video recording.
5. No Java Virtual Machine
6. No Zoom when taking a picture.
7. No flash for camera.
8. No Night Mode.
